Clear Creek ISD announced in a press release Jan. 23 it will launch a new podcast, “Car Rider Line,” to communicate with the community.

The first episode will be recorded live at noon Jan. 24.

The biweekly podcast will cover a wide range of education news, district initiatives, achievements and conversations with district leaders and other guests. Episodes will be recorded live on Clear Creek ISD’s Facebook page, according to the release.

“We are always looking for cutting-edge ways to inform and connect with our public,” CCISD Chief Communications Officer Elaina Polsen said in the release. “This new platform allows the community to easily learn more about the inner workings of the district anytime and anywhere, whether they are sitting in the car rider line, commuting to work or running errands.”

The first episode will cover course registration for the 2019-20 school year. Natalie Uranga, CCISD director of guidance and counseling, and Dana Morgan, director of career and technical education, will talk about the registration steps and different opportunities intermediate and high school students have to make sure their education is successful, according to the release.

Future episodes will be released every other week throughout the school year and will cover topics ranging from school boundary changes to vaping to graduation highlights. Listeners can subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Stitcher or Spotify once the first episode it out, according to the release.
