The committee will develop new district boundary recommendations for the planned school and propose new attendance zones for elementary, intermediate and high schools to alleviate overcrowding where possible, according to a district press release.
Committee meetings will be at 6 p.m. at the CCISD Education Support Center, 2425 E. Main St., League City on the following dates:
- Oct. 17 and 24
- Nov. 7, 14 and 28
- Dec. 5 and 12
- Jan. 31
Anyone who wants to volunteer to be on the committee can visit www.ccisd.net or submit information through an online form. CCISD employees are not eligible to serve on the committee.
The deadline to apply is Sept. 26, and members will be selected through a random drawing at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 27, according to the district.
