Harris County Precinct 4 will partner with Cypress Creek Christian Community Center to offer more senior adult programming in the Spring and Klein area. Senior Adult Program Director Jan Sexton said the center joins five other partner locations where luncheons and other events are held. “The Cypress Creek area is an extremely popular location where there is a demand for quality senior adult programming,” Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle said. “We will also be able to accommodate more residents in this new larger facility. We hope this location will help attract new luncheon attendees as well as improve service for our regular luncheon attendees.” Events at the center, located at 6823 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, will begin with a luncheon and live musical entertainment at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 2.  “As a key part of the Cypress Creek Cultural District, the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center is the perfect fit for Precinct 4 programming,” Cagle said. The location is near other cultural opportunities, including the Pearl Fincher Museum of Fine Arts and The Centrum, a venue for live performances. Other luncheon locations for 2016 include Lone Star College–University Park, Jersey Village Baptist Church and St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church. Precinct 4 also offers monthly luncheons for seniors at its two community centers— Big Stone Lodge, located at 709 Riley Fuzzel Road, Spring; and Mangum-Howell Center, located at 2500 Frick Road, Houston. Luncheons are open to residents age 50 and older. Reservations are required by calling Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program at 281-893-3726.
