With its success in Spring, OutbackKayak is opening a second Texas store.[/caption]
What we reported: The store moved from Galveston in June to Spring Cypress Road. It sells kayaks, kayak parts and accessories as well as specialty electronics.
The latest: Since it opened, the store has hosted more social events and clubs and has begun working with the American Canoe Association and refers customers there for training. The store has increased its product lines, with product lines such as Yak Attack, NuCanoe and Malibu Kayak.
What’s next: Outback Kayak has been so successful in Spring, it is expanding with a second store in April, which will be located in Beaumont, Texas.
