The Nutcracker

The Houston Ballet will perform “The Nutcracker” at the Wortham Center in downtown Houston this holiday season.Toys for Tots

Adult sports league Sportsmonkey will hold a softball tournament at Feld Park to collect toys during the holiday season. Teams are required to bring one unwrapped toy per player that costs $10 with a minimum of 10 players per team.Cocoa & Candy Canes Holiday Concert

This family-friendly interactive caroling event takes place at the Pavilion at Bellaire-Zindler Park. The 45-minute concert will also feature hot chocolate from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck and a balloon artist.H-E-B Feast of Sharing


NRG Park is the site for this drive-thru series of festive gatherings that will serve more than 340,000 meals at 34 dinners throughout Texas and Mexico. These free holiday feasts are open to the public and include food and music. Volunteer opportunities are available.Houston 12K of Christmas

This Christmas-themed running event starts at Sam Houston Park and will feature an appearance from Santa and elves. There are options for a 12K, 6K and a Kids K and family walk.Mixers and Elixirs: New Year’s Eve

Guests can come to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for this New Year’s Eve celebration. It features live music from the Joilux Band, DJ Hype and a glass of champagne to toast at midnight for $12.
