What they are saying
All proceeds will benefit the Bellaire City Library, according to the release.
“Proceeds from the book sales allow us to support the Library’s Summer Reading Program and other community activities," Andréa Ehlers, president of the Friends of the Bellaire Library, said in a statement. "It’s so exciting to partner with the fire department this year; this allows us to have an 'indoor' outdoor sale."
Library Director Mary Alford Cohrs said she is delighted that students in the National Honor Society of Bellaire High School will volunteer to help set up in the morning and return in the afternoon to clean up.
“National Honor students have done this for over 22 years, and they have made a huge difference in helping the sale go smoothly," she said.
What else?
Friends of the Bellaire Library will also have a booth set up at Bellaire's Arts and Crafts Fair held April 27 at Paseo Park.
