Prepare the chopsticks and crawfish—The Houston food truck that fused Japanese hibachi cuisine with Cajun flavors is getting ready to open as a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
A grand opening for Stick Talk Cajun-Hibachi will take place Sept.1 at 502 Elgin St., Houston, according to a news release from the restaurant group ALife Hospitality Group.
“We are really excited to introduce this new restaurant to the Midtown dining scene. We are always striving to bring something new and exciting to Houston’s vibrant culinary scene. The fusion of flavors at Stick Talk Cajun-Hibachi brings the best of culinary worlds together in a fantastic way,” ALife Hospitality Group Co-Founder Mojeed Martins said.
- Guests can expect the same fusion of cuisine flavors on the menu, including hibachi chicken, shrimp, filet mignon, crawfish, salmon and lobster tails.
- A popular food favorite is the Yacht Club Combo, a combination of lobster, salmon, shrimp and crawfish tails with a choice of fried rice, steamed rice or noodles, served alongside hibachi grilled vegetables and a choice of seven housemade sauces.

The new restaurant will operate from noon-10 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Hours could be extended in the future, according to the news release. The new location will also have a full-service bar and patio seating.
