Penny's Beer Garden celebrates one year in Dickinson

Penny’s Beer Garden celebrated one year at 1001 FM 646 Road N., Dickinson, on Aug. 16. Staff said the urban farm, market and taproom has not been able to consistently open since March, but it hosted several drive-thru produce events in the spring and early summer with free vegetable and cage-free egg baskets. The drive-thru events now happen about every two weeks; customers can get their growlers filled with cider, beer or wine and also purchase other locally made items like jams and pickles, according to the beer garden’s Facebook page. 832-315-6263.
