HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake broke ground Sept. 20 on an on-site Early Childhood Education Center exclusively for all HCA Houston Healthcare employees. According to a Sept. 22 news release, the program will help employees balance work and family and support child development.

The details

The center is under construction at 200 Medical Center Blvd., Webster, according to the release from the hospital.

The $7 million project spans 14,000 square feet and is scheduled to be complete in spring 2024.

The facility will be available for employees of all HCA Houston Healthcare locations to access. According to the release, employees can enroll their children in the on-site programs, which are operated by Bright Horizons, an organization for early education and child care services.


The Early Childhood Education Center will accommodate children of various age groups and will serve programs for:
  • Infants
  • Toddlers
  • Preschoolers
  • Children getting prepared for kindergarten
  • Children seeking after-school opportunities up to age 12
