If results hold, Fullen will face Mark Salinas, who ran unopposed for the Democratic nomination, in November.

What you need to know
With two candidates vying for the position in the Republican primary, results show Fullen with 58.61% of the votes, or 11,492 votes, and challenger Ray Nolen with 41.39% of the votes, or 8,115 votes.
Mark Salinas ran unopposed in the Democratic primary for the position.
