Clear Creek ISD’s board of trustees approved over $8.5 million in contract renewals and increases, as well as $4 million with multiple vendors at its April 14 meeting.

Updated contract agreements are for special education equipment, security camera upgrades and wholesale supplies, among other items.

Vendor purchases are for restaurant equipment for the new culinary arts program at the Learner Support Center, cybersecurity and identification card services for students, among other items.

The gist

According to district agenda documents, the following contracted items have been approved by the board:
  • $5.2 million: Commercial property insurance with McGriff Insurance
    • Lasts from May 1-April 30, 2026
  • $1.2 million: Construction contract for multicampus security camera upgrades
    • Slated to be complete by Aug. 8
  • $600,000: Contract renewal for wholesale supplies
    • Lasts from Sept. 1-Aug. 31, 2026
  • $500,000: Contract renewal for special education equipment, supplies and assistive technology
    • Lasts from Sept. 1-Aug. 31, 2026
  • $450,000: Contract increase for mechanical and plumbing system service
    • Expires June 30
  • $167,000: Replace the intercom at Bay Elementary School; the completion date was not provided as of press time
  • $150,000: Contract increase for studio live production support, maintenance, audiovisual classroom and special events onsite support
    • Expires Jan. 31
  • $150,000: Contract renewal with Medicaid billing services
    • Lasts from June 1-May 31, 2026
  • $110,000: Contract renewal for single sign-on for students and staff and identity management system
    • Lasts from June 1-May 31, 2026
What else?


CCISD’s board of trustees also approved purchases with multiple vendors for the following items:
  • $1.2 million for cybersecurity technology
  • $1 million for job order contracting services for concrete work at playgrounds and other maintenance-related tasks
  • $700,000 for comprehensive identity and access management
  • $450,000 for restaurant equipment and kitchen supplies for the new culinary arts program at the Learner Support Center
  • $400,000 for ID cards for routing software, student ridership, cafeteria services and check-in/out systems
  • $250,000 for exhaust hoods and stainless worktables for the new culinary arts lab
One last thing

A large bulk of contract and vendor purchases will be made through the 2023 bond, general, capital and federal funds, according to district agenda documents.

Documents did not specify what each entity would pay for within each project.
