Applications for Clear Creek ISD’s limited open enrollment program, as well as interest forms for its tuition-based pre-K program, for the 2025-26 school year have opened, according to a Nov. 8 news release from the district.

CCISD’s limited open enrollment applications opened Nov. 11, and will close Feb. 1, according to the news release.

The limited open enrollment program allows students who reside outside of the district’s attendance boundaries to attend CCISD schools, the news release reads.

Guardians that meet at least one of the following qualifications can apply for their students entering grades pre-K through twelfth grade to enroll in the limited open enrollment program:
  • Non-resident peace officers who live within 10 miles of the district
  • Non-resident military service members who live within 10 miles of the district
  • Non-resident federal employees who live within 10 miles of the district
  • Non-resident grandchildren of grandparents who live within CCISD’s attendance boundaries
  • Students of non-resident CCISD employees
For CCISD’s tuition-based pre-K program, early-interest applications opened Nov. 8 and will close Feb. 3, the news release reads.


The tuition-based pre-K program offers a curriculum that follows the Texas pre-K guidelines of the Texas Education Agency, according to district documents.

Families living within the district’s attendance boundaries, or who qualify under the limited open enrollment program with children who turn four years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025, can apply for consideration to the tuition-based pre-K program, according to the news release.

Tuition for the pre-K program is $625 per month, the news release reads.

This is a $25 increase of this year’s tuition of $600 per month, according to the district's website.


The details

For the limited open enrollment program, resident guardians and grandparents must collect the following documents and upload them electronically during the application process:
  • Two proofs of residency, which could include mortgage or lease documents, and a utility bill that can include natural gas, water or electricity documents
  • Guardian or grandparent's government-issued photo identification
  • Student’s birth certificate or another acceptable proof of identity
For the tuition-based pre-K program, once the pre-interest applications close on Feb. 3, applicants will be notified if approved and provided with instructions for enrollment in April for the 2025-26 school year. There will be a $100 enrollment application fee for applicants that are notified of approval from the pre-interest applications, according to the news release.

According to the news release, the following campuses at CCISD currently have the specified number of seats available for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year for the tuition-based pre-K program:
  • League City Elementary: 7
  • Ross Elementary: 11
  • Bay Elementary: 7
  • Stewart Elementary: 7
  • McWhirter Elementary: 3
  • Hall E-STEM Magnet School: 12
  • Hyde Elementary: 8
  • North Pointe Elementary: 7
  • Goforth Elementary: 5
  • Robinson Elementary: 7
  • Gilmore Elementary: 1
  • Mossman Elementary: 12
Those with students who turned four years old on or before Sept. 1 are eligible, officials said.

Parents and guardians interested in the limited open enrollment program must first complete the “Application to Attend CCISD” online at ccisd.net/discoverccisd. If approved, applicants will be notified of acceptance and provided with instructions for enrollment for the 2025-26 school year in April, the news release reads.
