Clear Creek ISD was named a top place to work in Texas for the fourth year in a row, according to a news release from the district.

Two-minute impact

In a list put together by the publication Forbes, Clear Creek ISD made its annual list of America’s Best Employers by State for 2023, according to the release.

Of the 86 listed, CCISD was placed at No. 50 and was one of three Houston-area school districts on the list, according to the release.

The other ones included Conroe ISD, which came in at No. 64, and Katy ISD, which came in at No. 71, according to Forbes.

Houston Community College also made the list at No. 4, according to Forbes.

To create the list, Forbes partnered with Statista, a market research firm, and surveyed more than 70,000 workers at companies across the country, according to the release. Among questions about working conditions and compensation, employees were asked whether they’d recommend the job, about diversity and about the potential for development.

Quote of note

“In Clear Creek ISD, we are committed to providing an exceptional workplace where innovation, collaboration and professional growth thrive so we can meet the needs of our more than 40,000 students,” Superintendent Karen Engle said in the release. “This is just a reflection of our 5,000 employees.”
