What would your top priorities be if elected?

First, infrastructure and drainage. Growth is putting more pressure on our roads, drainage systems, water and wastewater infrastructure. Second, public safety. Lots to unpack here but in general we need the provide the resources necessary within budget restrictions for all facets to function. Quality of life. Our parks, trails, neighborhoods.

What do you see as the greatest challenge for the city, and how will you improve it?

Greatest challenge is always getting everyone on same page for the betterment of the city. Managing our growth responsibly. Transparency and consistency will be key here. We can never have 100% agreement but it’s always a goal to strive for.

What should League City’s budget priorities be?

The fundamentals [including] public safety, drainage, developments, infrastructure, streets [and] water.

Why are you running for this position?

As a lifelong advocate for justice and community service, I am running to ensure that the voices of League City residents are heard, respected, and represented in a fair manner. I will always work to balance the budget and to cut wasteful spending. And although it will take dedicated effort.

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My top priorities are to keep residents safe from crime, flooding and government overreach in the form of excessive regulations or interfering too much in the lives of citizens. As a director for one of the largest homeowners associations in League City, I work to ensure the budget is balanced.

What do you see as the greatest challenge for the city, and how will you improve it?

Transportation is the biggest problem facing the growing population of League City. I plan to improve mobility so that people can move fluidly across the city. The Gulf Coast Transit District is a flexible and cost-effective transport service with buses and vans to pick up and drop off passengers.

What should League City’s budget priorities be?

Public safety is and should remain the top priority. Public safety accounts for $30 million of the city’s $333 million budget . The City of League City generates revenue primarily through property taxes, sales taxes, and fees. In a bedroom community like League City, the tax burden falls on homeowners.

I am running for League City Council to protect citizens' privacy rights from unwanted surveillance with Flock cameras, protect our property values from potential nuisances i.e. data centers, work to prevent flooding and maintain the small town feel while allowing for sensible growth that takes the surrounding neighborhoods into ...

What would your top priorities be if elected?

My priorities include flood prevention, protecting the rights of the citizens from surveillance, maintaining the small-town feel, protecting property values, encouraging necessary infrastructure and keeping low taxes while encouraging revitalization in the historic area to attract visitors to this side of the creek.

What do you see as the greatest challenge for the city, and how will you improve it?

Aside from privacy issues, flood prevention is the biggest challenge. On the west side, the Grand Parkway will slice through multiple neighborhoods. Addressing probable flooding will require a study by an outside entity, thereby working to prevent flooding proactively, rather than waiting for an issue to arise.

What should League City’s budget priorities be?

My budget priorities include flood prevention, infrastructure, public safety, revitalization and amenities. My family has loved city experiences including snake encounters at the library, Chemistry Road Show, Camp By The Creek, parks and recreation sports, paddle trails, bird watching, White Linen Nights. I will work to expand and maintain them.
