In-person early voting for the May 2 election will begin April 20 across Tarrant and Denton counties for several local races.
What you need to know
During early voting, which runs April 20-28, except for April 21, voters can cast ballots countywide at any of 46 early voting locations in Tarrant County. On election day May 2, voters will also be able to cast ballots at any polling place in Tarrant County.
Based on the date, early voting polling location hours vary, according to Tarrant County’s election website. Early voting hours include:
- April 20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 22-24, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 25, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
- April 26, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
- April 27-28, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
Election day voting in Tarrant County will run from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. May 2. For more information on early voting, visit the Tarrant County election website.
Denton County voters can cast ballots at any of the 42 polling locations during early voting, but must vote at their precinct on election day.
Early voting hours in Denton County are:
- April 20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 22-25, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 26, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
- April 27-28, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
