The Chick-fil-A restaurant at 603 S. Plano Road, Richardson, closed for renovations Feb. 11. The work being done includes upgrades to its interior and drive-thru enhancements to improve efficiency, a company representative said. Chick-fil-A is known for its original chicken sandwich and waffle fries as well as for its chicken nuggets, salads, lemonade and milkshakes. The location, which is in the Richardson Square development, is expected to reopen in late spring. 972-480-0090. www.facebook.com/CFARichardsonFSU
