Upscale craft cocktail bar Brizo will celebrate its grand opening Feb. 29 with live music and drink specials. Performers include Thaddeus Ford Jazz and DJ Tigerbee. In addition to cocktails, Brizo serves high quality wines and champagnes and a large selection of bourbon and whiskeys. Guests at the grand opening party can enjoy $6 specialty cocktails, including Brizo Bourbon Punch, the Sweet Heat Margarita and a Black Betty cocktail, whcih features Tito’s vodka and blackberry lemonade. Small plates and charcuterie boards will also be available. The event starts at 7 p.m. and runs until 11:30 p.m. Brizo is located at 300 N. Olivia Lueckemeyer graduated in 2013 from Loyola University New Orleans with a degree in journalism.
