Salata will open at 2160 N. Coit Road, Ste. 154, Richardson on Feb. 8. The build-your-own salad kitchen allows guests to customize salads or wraps with an assortment of lettuce mixes, vegetables, cheese and nuts, fruits, proteins and dressings. The restaurant will celebrate its opening with a series of events, including a free fitness class at 8 a.m. and free T-shirts for the first 100 guests starting at 11 a.m. Salata will donate 20% of all sales from its opening day to Richardson ISD's Child Nutrition Program. 469-399-6349. www.salata.com
