April 27 is the last day for Richardson voters to cast early ballots

April 27 is the final day of early voting for Richardson residents for the May 1 local election.

Contested races on the ballot include two seats for Richardson City Council, two seats for the Richardson ISD board of trustees and three seats for the Collin College board of trustees. Richardson ISD also has two bond propositions on the ballot. Richardson residents who live in Plano ISD will also have three contested board of trustees races on their ballot.

Polls will be open through 7 p.m. on April 26 and from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. April 27. Election day is May 1.

Collin County and Dallas County voters may vote at any polling location in their respective county during early voting and on election day. Through April 24, nearly 34,000 voters had cast in-person ballots in Collin County during early voting.


Through April 25, nearly 38,000 voters had cast in-person ballots in Dallas County during early voting.
