Early voting opens for races on May 1 ballot in Richardson

Early voting opens April 19 for the May 1 local election.

Contested races on the ballot include two Richardson City Council races, two Richardson ISD board of trustees races and three Collin College board of trustees races. Richardson ISD also has two bond propositions on the ballot. Richardson residents who live in Plano ISD will also have three contested board of trustees races on their ballot.

Polls will be open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. April 19-24 in Collin and Dallas counties. Dallas County will also offer early voting from 1-6 p.m. April 25. Both counties will also offer early voting from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. April 26 and 27. Election day is May 1.

Collin County and Dallas County voters may vote at any polling location in their respective county during early voting and on election day.
