After opening in Fort Worth nearly a decade ago, The Mad Hatter Neighborhood Pub opened its second location in Richardson on May 25. Located at 120 W. Cityline Drive, Ste. 600, the local bar serves up beers and cocktails along with a menu of bar bites, including sandwiches and pizzas. El Solazo Latin Kitchen serving Mexican food in Richardson

El Solazo Latin Kitchen held a soft opening in Richardson on May 17. The Mexican restaurant is located in the former space of The Brasa Bar and Grill, which closed at the end of December, at 430 N. Coit Road, Ste. 400. El Solazo serves a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, including tacos and fajitas. The restaurant is operated by the owner of Lucky Bamboo Fine Chinese Kitchen. New York Pizza & Pints offering 'piezillas' and pizza by the slice in Richardson

New York Pizza & Pints opened May 15 in Richardson at 901 N. Jupiter Road, Ste. 100. The pizza restaurant, which has seven locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, specializes in New York-style crust, 24-inch pizzas called “piezillas” and pizza by the slice. Old 75 Beer Garden offering 34 beers on tap in Richardson

Old 75 Beer Garden hosted its grand opening April 21-23 in Richardson. The event space, which is located in the Richardson Restaurant Park at 740 S. Central Expressway, includes indoor and outdoor seating at two bars, known as the Drink Bar and the Tap Bar, that serve 34 beers and six specialty drinks on tap alongside a variety of canned and bottled beverages. Old 75's kitchen offers a handcrafted menu rooted in South Texas flavors with a New Mexican twist, including green chili queso, a blackened chicken sandwich and candied bacon.
