Construction on an extension of Prosper’s Legacy Drive is expected to break ground in spring.

The project will include creating a four-lane road to extend Legacy Drive from Prairie Drive to First Street, according to the town of Prosper capital improvements dashboard.

Construction will include building a concrete roadway with curb and gutter, various underground drainage improvements, and median landscape improvements, according to the project dashboard.

The project is currently in its bidding phase with roadwork expected to begin in May. In total, the project costs $11.43 million from the town of Prosper and should be completed by early summer 2025, according to the project dashboard.
