The district’s board of trustees approved the academic calendar April 28. The 2026-27 school year calendar was proposed to the board of trustees early to allow teachers and families more time to plan around school activities, the agenda states.
Dates to know
The fall semester will have 84 days, while the spring semester will consist of 89 days.
- First day of school: Aug. 12, 2026
- Fall break: Oct. 9-13, 2026
- Thanksgiving break: Nov. 23-27, 2026
- Winter break: Dec. 21, 2026-Jan. 4, 2027
- Spring break: March 15-19, 2027
- Last day of school: May 21, 2027
Homecoming is planned to be Oct. 10 but is subject to change in early 2026. Bad weather makeup days are set for March 26 and April 23, 2027.

- Moore Middle School: 8:40 a.m.-4:05 p.m.
- Elementary schools: 7:45 a.m.-3:05 a.m.
