Q&A: Meet the candidates running for U.S. House District 26

Why are you running for office?

I am running because North Texas deserves a representative focused on people over politics. As a critical care provider, I have seen how policy failures affect families, healthcare access and household costs. I want to bring practical, service-focused leadership to Congress.

What are the biggest challenges facing the district?

The biggest challenges are healthcare access, rising costs, housing affordability, public school funding, rural hospitals, water, roads, grid reliability and responsible growth. Families across Denton, Cooke and Wise counties need leaders focused on solving real problems, not political distractions.

How do you plan to address these issues?

I will fight to lower prescription drug costs, protect rural hospitals, expand mental health care, strengthen public schools, invest in infrastructure, improve broadband, support working families and protect clean water. I will work with anyone serious about delivering results for North Texas.

What would your top priorities be if you are elected?

My top priorities would be healthcare affordability, protecting rural hospitals, lowering costs for working families, strengthening public education, improving roads and infrastructure, protecting water resources, and defending civil rights. My focus will be on practical solutions that improve daily life in North Texas.
