CityVet provides full-service care for pets, including vaccinations, surgery and grooming, per its website. It also sells healthy pet food.
Dr. Douglas Tucker opened the original CityVet-Preston Park clinic in June 2017 at 4701 W. Park Blvd., according to the release.
“Expanding into a larger space allows us to provide our clients and their pets even more access to care with the ability to accommodate 20 more pets than our previous clinic and the infrastructure to do two surgeries simultaneously,” Tucker said in a statement. “Additionally, we’ve added on grooming services, which will allow for our clinic to be a one-stop shop for our pet parents who are on the go. We look forward to continuing to provide Plano pets with our high-quality care.”
CityVet was founded in 1999 by Dr. Chip Cannon. Its mission is to “create client-centered, quality pet care,” according to a company release. The business has 25 branded and nonbranded, veterinary-owned practices, according to the release.
“We are living our core values every day by supporting our clinics and letting them do what they do best: provide high-quality pet care," CityVet CEO David Boguslawski said in a statement. “It’s been exciting to see Dr. Tucker grow his practice over the past five years, and we look forward to seeing him continue to excel in this new space.”
Walk-ins are welcome at the new CityVet-Preston Park clinic, though appointments are recommended, according to a company release. 469-872-5800. www.cityvet.com/cityvet/preston-park
