Urban Core, a Lagree fitness studio, will join Urban Seafood Co. on the second floor of a newly constructed building in downtown Plano this April.
The fitness studio is a creation of local entrepreneurs Bonnie and Nathan Shea's three daughters, Caycee Holt, Allie Hickey and McKenzie Shea. The Sheas are the creators of Urban Crust, Urban Rio and the upcoming Urban Seafood Co., which expects to open on the first floor of the building in April. Their daughters were inspired to create a space in Plano for people to take time out of their lives after becoming interested in Lagree in Dallas, according to a company release.
Lagree specializes in high intensity but low impact muscular endurance exercises to combine strength, endurance, cardio, balance, core and flexibility training, per the release. Also on the second floor at 1104 14th St. will be a smoothie Blended Bar and Urban Core clothing options. The sisters expect to host private events in addition to regular fitness classes at the location.
More information on the company, expecting to open in mid-April, can be found on its social media pages. www.facebook.com/urbancorelagree
