Local family opens new Smoothie King location along edge of Plano

A new Smoothie King location opened Dec. 17 along the edge of Plano at 3220 E. Hebron Parkway, Ste. 106, across from Prestonwood Baptist Church.

The smoothie franchise offers lifestyle-focused and nutrient-based smoothies with 70 smoothie options on the menu, according to a company release. Smoothie ingredients include mangoes, blueberries, kale and spinach.


The west Plano store is owned and operated by the Carrasco family with husband, wife and son—all locals—running the daily operations, per the release. This is the first franchise location for the family, and they hope to open a second location in the upcoming year.
