Plano festivals return & local school district regroups after sudden loss

On the Sept. 16 episode of the DFW Breakdown podcast, Community Impact reporter Andrew Norsworthy discusses the upcoming return of two key Plano events for the first time since 2019—the annual hot air balloon festival and the Plano International Festival—and how they will affect the city's tourism revenue. Also, editor Cody Thorn stops by to shed light on rapidly growing district Northwest ISD's plans after the tragic and sudden loss of recently hired superintendent David Hicks.
