Collin County Commissioner Duncan Webb won re-election to his Precinct 4 seat on the Collin County Commissioners Court over challenger Jeffrey Williams, according to unofficial results for the Nov. 8 election.
Webb, a Republican, earned 53.23% of the vote while Williams, a Democrat, had 46.77%, according to unofficial results.
With 365,136 of 696,712 registered voters in Collin County casting ballots, turnout was 52.41%, according to the elections department.
Webb, an attorney specializing in tax and business law, has been a commissioner for more than 11 years. He is also chair of the Regional Transportation Council, where he has served since 2011.
In a email on Nov. 9, Webb thanked his friends and supporters for electing him to another term.
"I am committed to making Collin County the best place to live, work and play in the most cost-efficient manner possible," he said.
Williams is the founder and CEO of Little Woods Capital Advisors LLC, a registered investment adviser, and JW Legal Support Services LLC, a notary and messenger service.
