April 27 is the final day of early voting for the May 1 local election.

Contested races on the ballot include Plano mayor, four Plano City Council seats, four Plano ISD board of trustees races and three Collin College board of trustees races. The ballot also includes six bond propositions for the city of Plano. Plano voters who live in Frisco ISD will also vote on a contested race for the Place 7 seat.

Polls will be open through 7 p.m. on April 26 and from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. April 27. Election day is May 1.

Collin County voters may vote at any polling location in the county during early voting and on election day. Through April 24, nearly 34,000 voters had cast in-person ballots in Collin County during early voting.


Denton County voters may vote at any polling location in the county during early voting but must vote in their precinct on election day. Through April 25, more than 16,000 voters had cast in-person ballots in Denton County during early voting.
