The gist
The school will be hosting its fourth annual technical campus open house April 13 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m, according to a news release.
Visitors will have the chance to tour the campus’s various programs in high demand career fields, including automotive; construction; health care; information technology; robotics; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; and welding.
Information will also be available on the Texas A&M Engineering Academy, which launched in February.
Collin College's Technical Campus is located at 2550 Bending Branch Way, Allen.
What else
The event will also feature a car meet from 9 a.m.-noon and various demonstrations from different departments, including a robotics demonstration and 2D- and 3D-printing laps. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with virtual welding machines.
