Over 20 townhomes could soon be developed near Park Boulevard and Enterprise Drive in Plano.

The Plano Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend approval of the rezoning request during the Feb. 5 meeting.

The gist

Developer P Custom Homes is seeking to construct 25 townhomes on 5 acres north of Park Boulevard along Enterprise Drive. The townhomes would be similar to those constructed by the company in The Colony, P Custom Homes Owner Warren Packer said.

Units would be marketed in a higher price range, likely between $700,000 and $1.3 million per townhome, he added.

“We feel like there’s a need for higher-end lifestyle homes in this area,” Packer said.

The details

Townhomes in the new neighborhood would have several features, Packer said.
  • Two-car garage
  • Rooftop deck area
  • A shared kitchen and living room space
  • Up to three bedrooms
Senior Planner Katya Copeland said the maximum building height is 45 feet. According to city documents, the proposed townhomes would have three stories in addition to any rooftop space.

A homeowner’s association would also oversee the townhome development, Packer said.

What’s next?

The rezoning request is scheduled to be considered by Plano City Council during its Feb. 26 meeting.
