Flying Fish and
Rodeo Goat Ice House will move into a 3,500 and 6,000 square-foot space, respectively. Both restaurants are expected to open in late 2017.
“Rosewood [Property Company, the developer,] presented us with an opportunity to have mature trees and a real creek in their new development, and it seems like a burgers and fried catfish kind of place,” Shannon Wynne, owner of Flying Fish and Rodeo Goat Ice House, said in a news release.
Flying Fish, a fast-causal restaurant, serves fresh catfish, shrimp, oysters, crab legs, salmon, burgers, chicken and crawfish. Flying Fish has locations two locations in Dallas and one in Garland.
Rodeo Goat Ice House, a family-friendly restaurant, serves a variety of burgers made from beef ground in house. The restaurant is also known for its rotating taps and cocktail menu. Rodeo Goat Ice House has locations in Fort Worth and Dallas.
“The restaurants represent an important amenity for the region, in particular for the residents and visitors at Heritage Creekside,”Rosewood Property Company President Bill Flaherty said in the release. “We anticipate further announcements shortly.”
When the mixed-use development is complete, it will include multifamily apartment units, single-family townhomes and houses, retail stores and a corporate office campus.
