Collin County health officials reported 15 additional cases of the new coronavirus May 15.

The county has 292 active cases of the virus—five more than the day before—and has reported 1,008 total positive cases.

Plano residents make up 297 cases of the total count, as shown on the county’s online dashboard May 15.

Collin County also reported the death of one person who had tested positive for the virus: a 34-year-old Wylie man with a serious underlying health condition. The county has reported 31 total deaths.

As of May 15, 685 of the county’s total cases have recovered, 18 are hospitalized, and 284 remain in home isolation.




There have been 11,950 negative COVID-19 tests in Collin County. There were 1,671 people being monitored for the virus as of May 15, according to health officials.
