H-E-B announced its new Plano grocery store will officially open for customers beginning at 6 a.m. Nov. 2.

This is the Texas-based company's second location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Its Frisco store opened at 6 a.m. Sept. 21 with about 1,500 shoppers who had lined up hours in advance for the grand opening.

The 118,000-square-foot Plano store is located at the corner of Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway at 6001 Preston Road. Store hours will be 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Customers may begin scheduling orders for H-E-B curbside pickup at 1 a.m. Oct. 31 with pickup available starting opening day, according to an Oct. 17 news release.

The Plano location will have a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru, home delivery service, a fuel station and a car wash along with a True Texas BBQ restaurant with a drive-thru, the release stated. It also includes the grocery chain's standard features, such as a bakery, a deli, a meat market, a produce section, a floral department, and a wine and beer department.

“We’re committed to make this store a pillar for the city, and we look forward to providing an outstanding shopping experience with the best H-E-B has to offer,” said Juan-Carlos Rück, H-E-B executive vice president of the North West Food/Drug Division, in a June 4 news release for the groundbreaking for the Plano store.
