Velvet Taco plans to open a new Plano location in the fall at 5013 W. Park Blvd. The restaurant chain serves more than 20 varieties of taco with a variety of international influences.

Rocco’s Italian Cafe is expected to open Sept. 1 at 908 Audelia Road, Richardson. The restaurant’s menu includes pizza, pasta, wings and salads, according to the owner.

Cigars International super store now open in Northeast Fort Worth

A Cigars International retail store opened July 22 in Northeast Fort Worth.

The store is located at 12853 Cabela Drive, Fort Worth, near Cabela’s outdoor sports store. It is the second Cigars International retail location in Texas.

The Texas Renaissance Festival has released its health and safety guidelines for the upcoming festival season, which runs Oct. 3-Nov. 29 in Todd Mission, just north of Magnolia.
