Japanese variety store Daiso Japan opened its first Plano location in September, as reported in Community Impact Newspaper. The store sells housewares, stationery, decorations, toys, bento supplies and gifts.

The latest:

The retail store plans to expand in Texas beginning with Arlington and Houston locations. The Arlington store is expected to open this summer and Houston is expected to open sometime this year.

What's next:

Customers can expect Daiso Japan to continue expanding in the Dallas region including a possible location in Frisco on Warren Parkway near the Plano-Frisco border. There is no set timeframe for the Frisco location.
