Barnes & Noble will open in Legacy West this March.[/caption]

Legacy West announced today it will welcome Barnes & Noble as its newest tenant. Located across from the Shops at Legacy at SH 121 and the Dallas North Tollway, the mixed-use development will also be home to high-end retail outlets, such as Dean & Deluca and Tommy Bahama.

“Having a new Barnes & Noble concept store join Legacy West is a huge win; it provides the community a unique experience where people can relax, discover great new books, or meet a friend to listen to an author speak and have a glass of wine," Legacy West developer Fehmi Karahan said in a news release. "We’re proud to deliver that experience at Legacy West.”

Legacy West is scheduled to hold its grand opening March 2, and will be the first shopping center in the Southwest to add a new Barnes & Noble concept store. The 9,000-square-foot store will also be the fifth new store, whose revamped concept includes a restaurant with an expanded menu along with a beer and wine offering.

“It’s a tremendous opportunity to join the list of 'best in class' restaurants and merchants opening at Legacy West,” said David Deason, vice president of development for Barnes & Noble, in the release. “We are excited to be opening a smaller format store, as part of a number of different concept stores that we’re testing nationwide.”
