The Mustang Square development near the Sam Rayburn Tollway and Rasor Boulevard will restructure all of the attached housing lots following a revised site plan approval from Plano City Council at a July 21 meeting.

The details

Thirty-five townhome lots will be modified into unattached single-family lots, and a common area lot will be modified to add two additional homes, according to city documents.

After the lot modifications, the development will have a total of 100 freestanding single-family homes.

Some background

Mustang Square is a 46-acre mixed-use residential, office, retail and dining space, initially pitched to City Council in 2017. Council previously rejected the 2017 site plan that featured apartments, but approved a revised site plan in 2018 that replaced the apartments with townhomes and increased the amount of office space, from 102,000 square feet to 140,000 square feet of office space.

Construction on Mustang Square started in 2019.
