A new four-story office building will headline a major mixed-use development in Plano, developers announced Oct. 2 as crews began work on the Mustang Square project.
Thakkar Developers and Heady Investments said at a construction groundbreaking ceremony that the development would include a 90,000-square-foot office building named HQ Center. About a quarter of the office space is already leased, according to a news release.
“The building will be designed to meet the needs of rapidly growing companies, especially technology firms along
the SH 121 corridor,” Heady Investments CEO Randy Heady said in the release.
McKinney-based Thakkar Developers also said an entertainment venue that includes an upscale movie theater and dining options is 50% preleased.
The plans for the property, located southwest of where SH 121 meets Rasor Boulevard, allow for retail stores, restaurants, entertainment facilities and residential areas as well as potentially more office space that has yet to be announced.
