The shop, one of seven Dallas-Fort Worth retail locations for the business, sold a variety of French macarons and meringues. Flavors offered include vanilla, coffee, strawberry shortcake, champagne and more, according to the business’s website.
The business will continue to offer macarons and meringues through online ordering, and the products can be shipped anywhere in the United States, delivered via courier for orders in the Dallas-Fort Worth area or picked up directly from the business’s headquarters in Garland, Texas, Savor Patisserie Founder and CEO Kelli Watts said. The business also offers custom macarons and macaron towers, as well as a monthly macaron subscription service and Savor Patisserie branded merchandise.
“After eight wonderful years on the McKinney square, we’ve made the bittersweet decision to not renew our lease and to close our retail shop locations,” Watts said in an emailed statement. “While our storefronts may be closing, our business is thriving, and you can still enjoy our delicious macarons and meringues!”
The business’s macarons can also be purchased in the frozen section at H-E-B stores, and are also sold through QVC. Savor Patisserie will also continue to offer macaron baking classes at its Garland location, Watts said.
