Irving-based developer JPI has plans for a new multifamily development in northern McKinney called the Jefferson Bois D’ Arc Apartments, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration.

The development, located at 5649 Bois D Arc Road just south of US 380, will include 383 units and an 8,500-square-foot leasing and amenity center, according to the TDLR filing. The multifamily development will be placed on nearly 15 acres that was purchased by JPI earlier this year, according to the Collin County Appraisal District.

The McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission approved a preliminary-final plat request for the property at its Oct. 11 meeting, which approved initial plans for various utility easements on the property.
