4. Hopdoddy Burger Bar


The eatery’s menu includes a variety of beef and non-beef burger choices as well as milkshakes. Construction on the store began in 2023 and is slated for completion in January 2026, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.5. InLife Wellness

The new 64-home community from Dallas-based developer First Texas Homes is under construction and will soon open for sales.8. Shoppes of Stonebridge

The 20,500-square-foot retail center is an initiative of privately-held real estate firm Banyan and will feature retailers, including a boutique coffee shop and pediatric dentist. Confirmed tenants include Nordic-style bathhouse Plunj and C3 Wellness Spa.9. Trader Joe’s

The grocery store is a national chain that offers store-branded foods as well as daily staples like milk, eggs and bananas. The new shop will be located at the southwest corner of Eldorado Parkway and Stonebridge Drive, where a grocer-anchored mixed-use development was announced in late 2024.What’s next


10. Kumon


Japan-based tutoring company Kumon is set to open its ninth McKinney location. Construction on the location is expected to begin in May and be complete by late October, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.11. PNC Bank

A new PNC Bank location on West University Drive will complete construction in December, according to Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation documents. The Pennsylvania-based bank offers home and auto loans, credit cards and other financial services.12. Sherwin-Williams

Cleveland-based paint supplier Sherwin-Williams is set to complete construction on its third McKinney location in August, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The company supplies paint and coatings for homes, floors and cars.Relocations
