The church was founded in 1989 in Plano. The new McKinney campus, originally slated to open Easter weekend, is now set to open July 27, Senior Pastor Mark Riggins said.
“We hoped for an existing building to renovate, and our new 31-acre campus has an existing building and is centrally located amongst four of the ten fastest growing cities in America,” Riggins said in an email.
While the new campus is being built in McKinney, church members are meeting at Rock Hill High School in Frisco. During the relocation process, the church changed its name to Church at the Creek.
