8. Red Zeppelin Records


The shop, which sells vinyl records in a variety of music genres, relocated to a space around the corner from its prior downtown location on Louisiana Street. 10. Caldwell Elementary Book Vending Machine


A book vending machine, donated by the Sarah Cockrell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in January, will give every student at Caldwell Elementary a book on their birthday.11. Family AutoCare & Repair

The auto repair business acquired Discount Auto Care and rebranded in October, staff at the location confirmed. The shop offers preventative maintenance and various repair services.12. Filtered

14. Big Lots


After a deal with a potential buyer for Big Lots fell through, the chain of discount stores is liquidating all of its stores. Big Lots offers furniture, mattresses, home goods, groceries, beauty products and more.15. Party City

Party City announced Dec. 21 in a news release the company filed bankruptcy and would begin closing stores. A storewide closing sale offering discounted merchandise is underway.
