8. Red Zeppelin Records
The shop, which sells vinyl records in a variety of music genres, relocated to a space around the corner from its prior downtown location on Louisiana Street. A book vending machine, donated by the Sarah Cockrell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in January, will give every student at Caldwell Elementary a book on their birthday.

After a deal with a potential buyer for Big Lots fell through, the chain of discount stores is liquidating all of its stores. Big Lots offers furniture, mattresses, home goods, groceries, beauty products and more.
