A planned maintenance project to extend the life of a city roadway in Coppell is underway.

Construction crews are currently adding an asphalt overlay—a process of adding additional asphalt over the road’s base layer—along Southwestern Boulevard between South Freeport Parkway and Coppell Road, according to a city project webpage.
