What you need to know
For the week of Christmas, trash will be collected Dec. 26 and Dec. 29, while recycling and yard waste will be collected Dec. 28. During the week of New Year’s Day, trash will be collected Jan. 2 and Jan. 5, with yard waste and recycling collected Jan. 4.
The CORE will be closed Dec. 24-25, but will reopen from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Dec. 26. Cozby Library and Community Commons will be closed Dec. 24- 26, while the Biodiversity Education Center will be closed Dec. 23-26.
Coppell Animal Services will close at 2 p.m. Dec. 23 and remain closed through Dec. 26. The Wagon Wheel Tennis and Pickleball Center will close at 1:30 p.m. and remain so through Dec. 26.
Coppell municipal offices, the Coppell Municipal Court, Coppell Arts Center and the Coppell Senior and Community Center will be closed Dec. 25-26.
All city facilities will resume normal operating hours Dec. 27.
What else?
In observance of New Year’s Day, all city facilities and offices will be closed Jan. 1. Coppell Animal Services will also be closed Dec. 31, while the Wagon Wheel Tennis and Pickleball Center will close at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 31.
