Need new food options? Several restaurants are making their way to the Lake Highlands and Lakewood area of Dallas with plans to open in the future. This list is not comprehensive.

Steakyard

Steakyard, which the owner describes as an “elegant yet casual steakhouse,” will serve American cuisine with Asian and European influences. The restaurant will have an open kitchen with a wood-fired hearth.Jinghe Japanese Restaurant

Jinghe Japanese Restaurant, a themed cultural restaurant focusing on Japanese barbecue, will open in the Mockingbird Station Shopping Center. In addition to barbecue, Jinghe will offer sake, beer and cocktails.Salad and Go

Salad and Go will open in a fourth Dallas location and its first in the Lake Highlands area. The drive-thru restaurant chain offers nine types of salads and wraps as well as breakfast burritos, lemonades, teas and cold-brew coffee, according to its website.
