The two incumbents on the Keller council won re-election, according to the latest numbers from the Tarrant County Election Administration.

Place 5 Council Member Chris Whatley received 4,073 votes, or 65.98% of the vote, while Becky Haskin has 2,100 votes, or 34.02% with 98% of the precincts in the county reporting.

Whatley has been on council for the past six years and now earned a third term.

Mayor Pro Tem Ross McMullin, who has been the Place 6 representative since 2020, held off challengers Rebecca Tovar and Mitch Holmes.

"This is a great night for Keller; we ran a campaign that focused on a family-friend vision for our town," McMullin said. "It is a big deal ... to fight for the values a community believes in. We are really excited for the Keller Sports Park and following through on that to deliver a world-class facility in Keller. I'll continue to support the public safety officers, street [repairs], trails system and parks. I know we will hold the line on taxes and be fiscally conservative. I'm excited about what we will accomplish the next three years."

McMullin garnered 3,594 votes, or 58.09% of the vote—a slight drop in percentage over the previous voting numbers. Holmes was second with 1,942 votes, or 31.62% of the vote, and Tovar finished third with 468 votes, or 10.01%.
