During its regular meeting on May 20, the Keller ISD board of trustees announced new principals at Eagle Ridge Elementary, North Riverside Elementary, Park Glen Elementary and Parkwood Hill Intermediate.

The details

The new principal at Park Glen Elementary School is Tammy DeLeon, according to a news release.

She has served in several roles in the district, including:
  • Assistant principal
  • Intervention support teacher
  • Classroom teacher
DeLeon’s education experience also includes serving as an elementary and middle school teacher in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD and Irving ISD. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in management from The University of Texas at Arlington and a master's in education for administration from Lamar University.

According to the district news release, Kristen Kiss has been hired as the new principal of Eagle Ridge Elementary School. She serves as the principal of Azle Elementary School in Azle ISD and was the assistant principal of Eagle Ridge Elementary for four years.


Kiss has more than a decade of experience in public education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in education from Texas Christian University and her master's in educational leadership and policy from the UT-Arlington.

Pascal Licciardi will be the new Parkwood Hill Intermediate School Principal. Prior to joining Keller ISD, the news release states Licciardi was the principal of Reach High School in Castleberry ISD.

Licciardi began his career in education in the New York City Department of Education, where he served in the following roles:
  • District instructional specialist
  • Director of teacher development in the arts
  • Assistant principal
  • Band director
  • Foreign language arts teacher
According to the news release, Licciardi has earned the following degrees:
  • Bachelor of Arts in music and Italian literature from Brooklyn College
  • Master of Arts in music education from Hofstra University
  • Master of Arts in teaching english to speakers of other languages/ESL from Adelphi University
Jonatan Romero will be the new principal at North Riverside Elementary School, according to the news release. His educational experience includes:
  • Dean of student services at Carolyn Burkhair Elementary School in Richardson ISD
  • Assistant principal in Tyler ISD
  • Principal at Dallas ISD’s Marcus Leadership Academy and Van ISD’s J.E. Rhodes Elementary School
  • First and fourth grade bilingual teacher in Alief ISD
  • Dyslexia interventionist in Chapel Hill ISD
Romero’s degrees include:
  • Bachelor of Business Administration and marketing from Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Mexico
  • Master's in educational leadership from The University of Texas at Tyler
The news release states all four individuals will begin their new roles this summer ahead of the 2024-25 school year.
